The First Year of Marriage
To work, or not to work?
With spring around the corner, Ramadan less than two months away, and our hearts grieving the innocent lives lost on Friday let’s take a moment to purify our intentions and seek forgiveness from Allah (swt). 🤲🏼 “He is Al Rahman, the most merciful, Al Tawab, the acceptor of repentance, Al Afuw, the forgiver, and yet it seems like so many of us struggle to find it within ourselves to get back up once we have fallen off the path to finding Allah (S) and seeking the hereafter.” Read more in my most recent blog post on the @hautehijab blog. “Making the decision to wear the hijab is a huge milestone in your daughter’s life and is one worth celebrating! Just like you may celebrate occasions in her life like birthdays and graduations, I personally am a huge advocate of throwing parties to commemorate Islamic milestones and achievements such as wearing the hijab, starting to pray and memorizing chapters of the Quran.” 🧕🏽 What are your thoughts on throwing parties in celebration of Islamic milestones? Did you have a hijab party of your own? 💜 Head over to the @hautehijab blog to read more and get some serious party planning inspiration & great sources for Islamic inspired party decor! I'm so excited to finally share this post with you all! I can't thank Samia, @hijabirista, enough for allowing me to interview her and take a peek into her life as a mother to a child with special needs. May Allah (S) bless her and her beautiful family and continue to give her strength and patience. ❤️ "A friend once told me that our goal is to achieve Jannah. When we have children, our hope for them is to enter Jannah. But when you have a child with special needs, they are already guaranteed Jannah, so it’s like Allah (S) is inviting you in. It’s actually an honor that you are raising an inhabitant of Jannah in your own home." Happy Monday friends! 🌿 Who else loves flowers and house plants? I always try to keep some around areas in the house that I spend a lot of time in, like the kitchen. It makes doing the dishes a little bit more enjoyable.😜 . . . . . #muslimmomblog #muslimmomblogger #happymonday #mondaypickmeup #selflove #selfcare #roses #flowersallday #houseplants #houseplantsofinstagram
Qadar, divine decree, a concept that is an inevitable part of our faith as Muslims. It’s an aspect of Islam that I find myself struggling with from time to time so I decided to dive deeper into this topic in my most recent blog post on the @hautehijab blog. 🤲🏼 On this blessed Friday, I encourage you to read and share this post with others if you find it beneficial.
